I used to have a W580 CID52 (locked to AT&T), and i unlocked the phone using setool.
Unfortunately, i updated the sony ericsson's firmware, and it became CID53, relocked to AT&T.

In ebay, some sellers can unlock the phone using IMEI.
(They basically go into AT&T database and find the unlock code)
Will this unlock code work for me?

It might. Another solution is to call the provider it's locked to and ask them. Or if a friend has them as a provider, ask your friend to call and request an unlock code.

My phone is unlocked, thanks to ATT, but I still cannot flash it using Far. How long do you think it will take to be able to debrand CID 53s?

hey i got same error while i was trying to update my k55oi to w610i... but my erom cid is 53.. and i dnt have mains and firmware of w610 based on cid 53..

what can i do in this case?

hi, i wanted to flash my w580i.. just updated it yesterday. it doesn't work with xs++.. could it be on FAR and jdflasher? cid 53... having a hard time. please help !
