BIG problem with w580 erom/gdfs/firmw

today i've got white w580 to change language pack.. and when i connected it to setool a saw this message :

ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301
erom_readvar: error reading unit 1/851
error while reading security units
SECURITY UNITS CAN'T BE READ !
DAMAGED FIRMWARE/GDFS OR EMPTY PHONE
Can't load ID loader !
Elapsed:4 secs.

wtf ?? mobile is working normaly and xs can regonize it..but im scared to do a backup of gdfs and flash it :S
what should i do ?

why are you scared to back your gdfs up? The first thing you should do is back the gdfs. It doesnt damage the phone what so ever.

And with regards to flashing as long as you have the correct files there shouldnt be a problem.

If your phone is working and your happy with it then leave it, why out your self in a position.

if u can get log by xs or setool until u can find whats ur phone.

problem is that isn't my phone... my friend gave it to me cuz he want's to change language...

So you're doing it for your friend? Have you tried backing up GDFS with XS++?

Connection problem...

Check and clean fast port...
Check cable pins and baterry 100%
