of course, you gonna need the unlock patch and apply with setool2lite

IF your phone is CID50 you'll need a box for the unlock...Not for free with DCU-60
CID49 can be unlocked with setool2lite apllying the patch with DCU-60
You can look the CID in an Identify log with setool in the line FLASH CID detected:XX

w810 only have two CIDs, 49 (DB2010) and 50 (DB2012)

Use XS++ and post log from them here than we can answer on your question

Just flash the MAIN(W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49) that you downloaded. It isn't mandatory to flash the FS in this case. Then generate an unlock patch with Remove SIM-lock patch generator(link in my signature), and then apply the patch.

terrific! it worked... seems so easy now... just have to work out how to unbrand the phone now...
