CID53 is simply an Sony Ericsson update from CID52, all updates do is update the phone makes little things better with better display drivers, cam driver etc and the menu a bit faster. The user won't see massive improvement, it doesn't add any newer features or anything just security stuff and that unlock patch will not work. Many people won't recomend updating to CID53.

CID = This "number" defines the version of SE's protection present in the phone.New CIDs are deployed from time to time, for the sole reason of preventing them from beeing unlocked/flashed/tampered with by non-SE service tools.

CID simply is a way to secure the phone from unlocking, hacking; newer CID is more securing so if you upgrade your phone to newer CID, there is many hacking tool (PhoneXS, FAR ..) can't working on your phone. Upgrading CID does not improvethe efficiency of your phone. The efficiency of the phone depends on the Firmware version.

Cid53 is bad man, i updated using seus and now i cant use phone xs or xs++
cid52 can be modded more than a cid53

CID 53 is a bad for us, there very less apps support it, so you cant modd it as you like.
and also, if your EROM damaged, you can't fix it. so don't upgrade to CID53

but now,only far+jdflasher can flash cid53
