i got to CID52 what is the diff between MAIN and FS firmwares??

Read this:

Finalization = Completing flashing operations and storing basic settings that phone needs to properly operate [i.e. security certificates, (and this is why phone displays "configuration error" if it is not properly done)].

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version
MAIN R1BC002
FS R1BC002
Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case
FS = EU5 (EUROPE_5)
Customization =CDA102338/50 ( EUROPE_5 Sunrise Switzerland)

No you don't need memcard,but some elves start from memcard when you start phone,so if you start them by yourself they will work

i read the tutorial and im kinda stuck on the patching part could anyone help me coz i need help real bad ive got a w580i cid53 and its been debranded

You can't patch CID53 for now,only if you downgrade your CID to 52 with Ultimate Unlocker - but this isn't free

Well guys am creating this topic just for W580i R8BE001 ELFS Patching.. so only discussions about it are only allowed....

Now lets start...

HOW TO PATCH W580I R8BE001 TO USE ELFS...

Procedure...
Part 1... Files needed... Elf patch, Library patch, Icon Patch, DYN_CONST.bin (files attached)
Part 2... Right folder Structure
Part 3... Needed elfs

1.So lets begin.... well as i said download the files attached and unrar them now for flashing use setool or
jdflasher,XS++ etc... (PS: jd flasher is the fastest ;))

2.Now firstly upload the DYN_CONST.bin to phone\other\Zbin\Config

3.Patch using any tool firstly W580Elf patch then library patch and then the icon for elf, patch

4.After patching make following folders in the phone..

in PHONE MEMORY
phone\other\ini
phone\other\Zbin
phone\other\Zbin\Config

in MEMORY CARD
card\Zbin\Daemons

5.Now for the elves which have .ini files put it in phone\other\ini and for files like desktop.cfg put it in phone\other\Zbin\Config for elves that u dont want to run at startup put it in phone\other\Zbin and for elves that u want to automatically run at startup put it at card\Zbin\Daemons...

6.Well i have separately added the new DYN_CONST.bin its same as in my elf pack and plz add and check it
weather u r using the same....

7.On request i have uploaded my structure folder, it already contains elfs like..
Bookmanager, Colorslider ,Desktop, Logo changer and Soundslide elf...

so now most of the elves will run in our phones.....
so happy modding....

I don't understand, you say to put the files for phone memory in phone/other/ini, phone/other/Zbin...

When i access my R8B001 CD 52 I don't see those folders. Does that mean I have to add them or what?:confused:

I did all what you said,
patched everything in the correct order and put files in correct place

I see the elf files on my phone card, but when i press run nothing happens

Someone please help me

i flashed my s500i to a w580i and i was wondering if i had to reflash it inorder to install quick access patch?
