I got my K790 works.

1) Just 2 comments here:
I couldn't fine the file:
K790_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED52
K790_R8BF003_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52

So I use these instead - and it is working too
K790_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED52
K790_R6BC002_FS_AMERICA_2_RED52

2) I wasn't clear about this:
"2. In Windows Explorer drag the MAIN file (.mbn) onto [SETool2 Lite v1.11 folder]\qamaker\qamaker.exe. In the qamaker's folder you will get a quick_access_XXXX_XXXXXXX.vkp file."
So I used other way instead -- it is about the same

Just to make sure that you need check “Bypass DB2020 Security” when use SETOOL2LITE tool to flash.

To verify if it is unlocked debranded just do ( >*<<*<* ) on your cell. It will bring you in service menu-SIMlock menu - and all item there should be dispay as unlocked.
