Help me select correct firmware please

I have read all guide and read the K790A phone with XS++ 3.1
It's DB2020
OTP CID 49
EROM CID 49

This is a locked phone to Rogers Canada. Can you help select the proper firmeware files?

Upgrade the cid with XS++ then download last firmware cid52 and unlock/debrand with same procedure for cid52 phone:

There are so many files that ends in 52 to chose from in firmware download I do not know where to start.

Since Xs++ state that my current firmware version on my phone is; R1EG001

Can I assume that the download file: R1EG001_RED52 is the one to use?

When download firmware start simlock patch generator and just MAIN firmware drug&drop
on simlock window and in folder vkp you find patch for unlocking your phone

End for firmware R8BF003_RED52 is newest but I don't know what FS is for Canada - sorry,just wait for someone who knows

End one more thing - DON'T use RED53 because for now can't unlock CID53 for free

It's as if you guys are steering me away from using XS++ and use the simlock patch generator instead.?

Nice. I'm using the XS++ guide has a reference and do not see any reference to simlock patch generator. What is this for?

Can;t be done in XS++?
