I always take the last firmware that was uploaded to TopSony.

Finalization = Completing flashing operations and storing basic settings that phone needs to properly operate [i.e. security certificates, (and this is why phone displays "configuration error" if it is not properly done)].

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version

Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case
FS = EU5 (EUROPE_5)

I did it for w810i before but it's been a while...

Also do I need to update far manager with any new patches to support w610i? like for w810i required.

Well unless you speak aborigine as your only language then you want English, so just use the custom pack above.

Its not phone dependant when you flash, its CID Dependant. So if you let us know your CID then we will be able to point you in the right direction.

Use either XS++ or Setools and as i said before copy the log into this thread MINUS your IMEI number.

Hi all was hoping somebody could help. I am unlocking a W610i too. The firmware on the phone is R1KG001.

I have downloaded R1KG001 firmware from here but only get a .fbn file.

When I run SIMlockPatchgen it asks for a .mbn file - where do I get this file from? Can I use the firmware linked on page 1 of this thread? and do these contain .mbn files.
