Hi guys!

I got this K530i which has Arabian and French languages but I'd like to add Chinese language while keeping French language. I read in an other forum that by modifying some files (allowed_language.txt, lng.dat et lng.lst) located in tpa/preset/system/language, it was possible to add languages.

My goal is to own a phone with French or Chinese system, but I want the possibility to write in both French and Chinese. I don't know how to get it.

I will be thankful for your advises.

You can try this procedure for both languages (caution! this flash a new FS so you lost all data, backup it before continue):
1- download an R8BB001 FS firmware file which contains the French language (use only CID52 firmware files)
2- download the R8BB001 FS firmware file with the prefered chinese lang and the corresponding Custom Pack (use only CID52 firmware files)
3- use babe2raw and sefstool4 to extract the entire fs file with french language
4- locate the fr.lng and fr.t9 file in \TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\LANGUAGE\ extracted folder
5- Modify (with notepad) the file customize.xml into the zip file Custom Pack dowloaded. You must add this line below to the similar other:

<allowed-language>fr</allowed-language>

6- Now flash your phone: use only FS (china) + CP (modified). You must have already the MAIN_CHINA installated in the phone, so skip main flashing.
7- Upload the files fr.lng and fr.t9 in \TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\LANGUAGE\ using XS++ or JDFlasher
8- Power on the phone, please waiting message and done ;)

can i use the same method?

if i were to flash it using xs++ onli, how would i do it?

It would to work... You must see what main is stored in your phone, it's necessary a MAIN_TAIWAN for add a chinese lang.

so how to add writing language " chinese " in my phone??? anyone can help me??

You need full Chinese firmware (MAIN and FS) to have Chinese input.
