can't apply unlock patch!!!help

I got a Z710 and can't put the remove sim lock patch when i write the script
to the phone it says error "block @ $44600000 read error. Have only: 00000000 bytes"

it is a cid49 red , using setool , any help???

If you didn't generate the patch by yourself, be sure the patch is for the same firmware and CID you have in your phone.

Z710 is a DB2020 phone, so you need to upgrade the EROM CID to 52: connect the phone to XS++ v3.1, and when XS++ ask if you want to upgrade the EROM CID, press the Yes button.
Now apply the patch following any DB2020 CID52 patching guide.

You will loose EVERY patch applied earlier. So you need to apply the patches again.
