    Question w300i Flashing White Screen

    Hi all...

    I started a w300i config error a while back...
    Now...ive forgotten about the phone...gotten me a very uncomfortable motorola and moved on. But like all ex-es...sometimes u just get a urge to use ur old phone. Well. lol. I tried putting it on again and all i get is a slowly flashing white screen...as in. Nothing. Just white...black......white...black......u get the picture. Now ive profiled it with both SEtoollite and XS++

    Slowly flashing screen may indicate a bricked GDFS but your logs don't look like that...
    Where are you from?

    The GDFS contains calibration data of your phone. The phone is not able to boot up if the GDFS is bricked.
    Unfortunately there is no free/cracked software available to revive the W300's GDFS.
    A GDFS is unique to the phone, you can't flash another GDFS to it unless it's your own.
    At least not if you don't own the soft-/hardware to do it.

    I just read through your other thread. I really don't know what to do right now.
    You should try to write EROM, do a fullflash and then write back the backup of your GDFS. But I think you've already done that so...:confused:

    Ok...maybe i didnt do all that in the rite order...
    could u just run through in what order i should do all that...And do i put the EROM file in the FS?

    No. You'll Have To Place The EROM File In MAIN.

    Well could u explain the full reflashing process in detail please then...caus i must be doing something wrong somewhere...

    Like what file when...when to take the fone out before doing another section all that...Caus the fones just flashing white and black now...and it picks up fine on XS++...

    So if ud be so kind...could u tell me step by step how u did it...
