Patches in W830i

Hi, I was wondering that can I apply patches of Sony Ericsson W850i firmware R1KG0001 on W830i firmware R1KG0001? I couldn't find patches for W830i, however I found loads of patches for W850i, and I was wondering if I could apply those on my W830i, since both the phones are basically the same (ones 3g ones not, both are db2020 though) thanks.

thanks. I just downloaded a .vkp patch file which extends the sms tone length for both the w830i & w850i (same firmware R1KG0001). And I found out that except of the first block, the rest of the code for both the files were the same. Here were the codes:

and for w830 it was

so can I somehow change the codes, or create the codes for w830i if I know part of them from W850i? Also since SEUS upgrades phones to CID 53, can I like flash the main of my phone from R1GB0001 to R1KG0001 (which is the latest for W830i) through Xs++ or SE tool2lite?

ya i know no one makes patches for the w830i..i can only make the sygfx patches for the w830i..i made the blue battery icon and a better radio skin

yeah, its really annoying. But how do you make patches?

the sygfx patches can be made by the image tool software..search the forums or on google...its quite easy and it generates the vkp patch for you.
