Change Parts of the FW without having the phone connected

Hello, I wanted to ask, whether it is possible to change Firmware-Parts.
But I don't want to change the FW, when it is on the phone, i want to change things before I upload the Firmware on the mobilephone.


I want to modify a CID 49 FW.

I hope you understand my problem and you can help me.

Personally I've never heard of that being easily done... But If you were an SE engineer then sure!

Heh i too want to modify one k750/w800 firm to work with flash menus but that is not easy!!

currently haven't heard, read, anywhere that k750 support flash or flash lite, seems impossible. I am also searching for it but didn't find anywhere but it is impossible. Thanks.

That was R1L002 firmware for W800 and K750 which want play swf files. After this firmware FlashLite was removed from firmware.

That is 99 percent impossible. The firmware must be disassembled first. Second part is much harder. You must understand assembler language for ARM processors and explore the program procedures etc. This must be an easy job for a SE engineer nor for us.

only way to chang your firmware before flash it to phone is patching it with GSlide, but that is only patching. And even though earlier w800 firmware had a swf support it never had support for flash menus, it s completely other thing.
