W580 Vibra and Dies...HELP ASAP plz unkown problem??

ohk so should reflash MAIN and FS

but
checked battery again with multimeter after leaving it plugged into the charger for hour still reads 1 ma ......

true wont charge without running firmware how else would i be able to charge it ??? other people is not an option really lol .....

IF i enabled usb charging in secret menu (service menu)....
shouldnt the power from the usb keep the phone running while Flashing process...??

hmm ok, all SE battery's are around 950mAh. and this will never change. you will have to check the volts lol

yes it's true you can't charge a a phone with no/damaged firmware

i don't know if the phone will charge during a flash. but i do know that the settings don't change when you reflash the phone so if "usb charge" was on before you began flashing it should still be on

OK So if i uderstand this correctly
when i flash MAIN , FS and CUSTPACK over

MY GDFS would still be the same ??? or does it get changed/updated?? when new firmware is flashed


IF SO(that it doesnt change)... I have my GDFS from when i was on R6BC002 would it be ohk to flash it over on my firmware R8BA024 ????


i heard that the gdfs doesnt chnage or update when flash to new firmware so was just wondering if i cud jus flash back original GDFS but from previous firmware

I have one W580 that also only vibration when pressing the power button. The problem with this phone is because I flashed the GDFS from another phone to it. I think the GDFS is now corrupt. I heard Dream box Se can repair damage GDFS. Try restoring the original GDFS with Setool if other programs will not connect to the phone. Hold the 2+5 button when connecting with setool.

thanks well phone connects normal to other programs
well only two that using rite now ... xs++ and setool2lite with holding c button
will try but my battery is dead ..... and cant charge since the firmware phone isnt running
im gona use another se phone battery rated d same 950 ma 3.6v so it should work
the only thing that phone is diff model so i gona have to run some wires lol :P

Late Reply now getting time tp put results

w580 is working again!!!!!! :)

hmmm well i ran wires from my k510 battery to my w580 terminals and worked and flashed it with that battery
since w580 battery couldnt charge so yeah

although k510 battery rated 750 ma 3.6v

and w580 battery rated 930 ma 3.6v



wierd thing now is that i get this message whenever i put it to charge

"Charging non-standard Battery"
it still charges but takes exceptionally long for it to charge up fully well around 90 %

but if t depends that i flashed it with k510 battery and now using normal batery that it gives me error im thinkin since k510 is 750 ma it must of been loaded onto the firmware on charge settings for that battery ....

and now i put back orginal w580 950 ma battery phone takes longer to charge it etc since it had settings for k510 battery charging????

anybody understand that ??? lol

tried reflashing ...MAIN but still same battery probelm when charging ...charging non standard battery ..... and takes a hole day to fully charge

thinking it migh just be the battery thats givin problems now ?

did you try full reflash? main, FS and cust pack?

it could be possible that it loaded the K510 battery. cause the battery have a little eprom inside with the info about the battery. thats why there are 3 conectors instead of 2, 1 is to read the battery's info.
