Hi just saying hello and asking for some help
I have just bought a sony ericsson w380i locked to the orange uk network, I believe it has cid53 can anyone tell me wether or not it can be unlocked and if so point me in the right direction please ?:confused: thanks

You can't unlock it from patch unlocking since its CID53.

The best way I'd recomend is taking it to a local phone stop or some market phone store and asking them, because they may have the equipment which does cost a bit if we was going to buy it.

Welcome to Top Sony.

CID53 is not yet able to be unlocked (Patched). However you can pay to have it unlocked by using any reputable server like davinci etc or your local mobile shop.

A piece of software called XS++ is being developed as we speak to enable CID53 to be flashed and ultimately patched by users like yourself by yourself and should be available soon.
