I just changed a friends K610im to an unbranded K610i and i runs much faster and also he can install games now which he couldn't before i flashed it, My advice, Keep it as it is.

I think he wants to be sure he cans in case he has debranded his phone and this breaks up.So he can fash it again to K610im and give it for repair

Did K610im support flash lite? And is it faster loading Memory card?

Why you want a K610I flashed to a K610im i had the im version and it was bad, no good java support, you cant install java games, imode crap and other crappy stuff. i have now flashed it to k610i and it works perfect, if u only want the im version for flash menu's that is kinda stupid.but its your phone so your choice

There is one more solution for K610i. If you want to keep java + add flash than just convert k610i -> w660i
