Correct me if im wrong, but if you where to hook the phone up to SEUS and updated it through them then wouldnt that not only update the CID if there was an update but also return the set back to its original manufacturer settings ie Main and Fs?

I had an unlocked w580i through patch and when i updated it through SEUS (DUMB!!) It not only updated it to CID 53 but also rebranded the handset back to Orange.
