W580i Upgraded fireware now CID 53

i was just about to add a few patches to my fone tested out the new cam drivers and thought i would urgrade my firmware with SE update now after update when i connect my fone its sayinf its CID 53 not 52 and i cant access anything any ideas?

yap SEUS updated ur CID to 53, you can still flash your phone and access FS using jdflasher, but no patching or reading files from FS.

well just rang SE and sending the phone back having a few cam problems and all the buttons are cracked hoping they will reflash it back to 52 for me worth a try and i wanted a new set of keys anyway. just have to use my w910i till i get it back

For months, the forum has a thread saing that upgrading determined phones through SEUS, it would be to CID53.
In respect to downgrade CID53 to CID52, it is impossible. Now, you can only flash firmwares with that CID through jdflasher and, I think that you can customize some things through it too.

No way back to CID 52 my friend. But don't lose your head...

Guys are working on NEW XS++ version (they are beta testing right now), and maybe they will add in there also CID 53.

Shoot! I just tried suess and got the same problem. So now I can't debrand the phone at all anymore? I've been waiting for almost a month on this forum trying to get access to the download area, and now you're telling me it was all a waste?

You can flash cid 53 phones with JDFlasher ( main , fs and custom file ) or KulanKendi ( only main and fs , custom file you must add with JDFlasher ). You can`t only unlock for free cid 53 phones.

managed to get into the phone with far to upgrade the cam and acoustic drivers but could someone tell me how to apply the cybershot patch with far ?

as said before you can't flash CID53. you can do the following:

-change stuff in the FS (camdriver, menu icons, acoustics, lighteffects, etc)
-reflash entire firmware ( main, FS, custom pack)

you can't:

-apply patches
-downgrade your cid (like CID53 to CID52)
