I'm a newbie so, sadly, can't help you on this but I might be able to put your mind at ease while you wait for an answer from someone else...

I've managed to 'kill' my phone a number of times while trying to figure out how to flash / unlock, etc but have (to date..!) always managed to make it recover by RE-FLASHING it with the correct firmware (once I found it).

So hopefully your phone will be ok once some kind person directs you to the right place.
