    "Configuration error" on k750i after flashing.

    . . I have a k750i that I wanted to flash into a w800i. I did everything correctly with a DaVinci Credit I bought long time ago and it went well, but now when I turn it on it just shows on the screen something like "Configuration error. Contact your operator or service center" (but in Portuguese). I think it can be the CDA (I've chosen a generic America one) and now I don't want to pay for another credit to fix it. Does anybody knows if the problem is actually the CDA number and if I can change it for free using some program like Far Manager?

    . . Thanks.

    . . By the way: I only have the service cable, not the original DCU-60. I'm looking for some solutions that works with it.

    You should reflash your K750 using PhoneXS or XS++ to solve the problem

    the biggest laugh ever!

    sorry bout that. :D

    Configuration error message at start means, that you do not have CONFIG files uploaded to your phone.
    Search the fotum for FAR + SEFP tutorials, and then download CONFIG files.

    If you need additional help, pass by, at skype. ;)

    . . So, the CDA I put in the file must match the configuration files (config folder)? I'll search a little around to find out what to do.

    . . Thanks.

    whats your CID?

    as long as you upload the correct config files then the whole thing should work no problem. The CDA is only really there to identify the region of the phone firmware. all the config files should be the same for the model of the phone.

    your CDA region has to be the same as FS region. after you do that it will work normal. for example my fs is W800_R1BC002_FS_EMEA2 and when i just flashed the phone media player worked, but the phone mode didn't, it reported the same message you had. then i have put CDA file W800i_CDA102430_2_EMEA_2 (the matchig CDA region to FS) and now my phone is happy and healthy lol

    Thumbs up It was just the certificates! :}

    . . I did some research in the forum and around the web and just figured out that the "finalize" proccess is actually just a simple copy of certificates that are needed for the phone to work. I used DaVinci to reflash it (this time with w800 firmware) and XS++ tofinalize it correctly.
    . . I have a CID36 Red k750i, now with the R1BC002 firmware (America 2 CDA).

    . . My phone if fully working and now I just need to learn how to make my songs to appear in that "fancy viewing" with the Artist/Album filter (by this time I can only find them by creating a playlist, but it's so "straightbackward" :P).

    . . Thanks everybody who helped. I'm looking forward for next month, when I'll be able to download all those mods in the download section...
