    W850 Screen goes white

I've got a W850 which has a problem that it keeps "resetting" itself.
After about 1-2 minutes after I turn the phone on, the screen just goes white, and then it seems like it turns itself off, but after a couple of seconds, the phone just returns to the home screen.

Also where the name of the network provider is supposed to be, it only says "searching" even though the "network bars" has a full signal.

It's pretty annoying because I can't do anything with the phone, because it just keeps resetting itself.

Reflash the phone. Maybe it is "just" a software problem...

    Hi Friend,

99% of this type of problem is H/W , change the upper Keys board
and your problem will be solved .

It is not Software problem ..

I have fixed many W850 flashing white screen .. by changing the upper keys board and sometimes the Flat cable too .

Thanks a lot for the reply. By the "flat cable" do you mean the flex cable that runs between the two sliding parts?

I suggest to bring it to the assistance...because if you break smth while you're "repairing" it they will not repair it

    Re: W850 Screen goes white

Well, it was not the keypad, or the flex cable. I just tried changing them and that didn't help at all. So I'm back to square one. Guess I'll just use this phones for spares than:(
