questions about firmwares....

All right I give up. i have spent 2 hours reading this site and i have not found the answers. I have unlocked both of my w580i phones and now i need to unbrand them. I have done is once before about 6 months ago however i don't have the files anymore.


what is the diffences between each of the flashes. besides lang. any difference in software features like better T9, games, etc....

all same in the firmware if has same version.. the games, application and layout..

Newer version of firmware have only fixed some bugs or added updated camdrivers or displaydrivers and many times they have nothing new installed ( games , programs , funktion ).

Both of the phones have the same firmware version.

Some times, new firmwares are faster..

new firmwares wont give you new games, but just fixes bugs, faster phone response and a few little extra functions. oh! flash your phone to unbrand it, simple as that. you should have to unlock the phone again. latest firmware: R8BE001_RED52

hold on forgot to tell you, you sound like newbie, after firmware flash remember to finalise your phone by flashing with a custom pack. Good Luck
