Iphone [review]

my friend asked me to unlock his iphone today. this gave me the chance to fll test the device out.

after unlocking (wich is very easy) i started some test:

1) transfering: everything has to be transfered trough Itunes. the Iphone shows up in windows explorer as "read only"

2) sound quality was poor with the original earphones, they started to make craking noises with a volume over 80%. so i wanted to pop in my sony's. guess what? the design of the housing is so crap that normal "L" shaped plugs wont fit!!! i mean common what a rip off!!!. playing music trough the speaker was horrible to the same cracking noises but now allready at 60%!!! apple what the fuck are you doing?

3) the camera... now this is the best part! there is only 1!!! function: "take a pic" wtf?? no zooming!, no flash, no extra like frames, (auto)focus and stuff... could it be more budget??? i mean the cheapest camera phone has a zoom why the Iphone not?? big FAIL. oh yeah the image quality was crap to (2mp camera) viewing pictures was boring to. slideshow was the only special feature

4) the keyboard. features a full on screen qwerty keyboard. but it's to fucking small!!! even for me i have the same fingers as an anorexious girl for god sake. you have to type really slow to avoid mistakes.

5)internet. well couldn't test this because the damn piece of crap didn't want to connect to my wep secure modem. i mean it was WEP. every fucking device supports wep!

all the other poor apps on it can be find on any cheap phone. text, calculator, google maps, youtube. etc etc.

my conclusion: give low end mp3 player the ability to make phone calls and you don't need an Iphone. really i am not a mac fan altough i enjoy using my 30gb ipod. but as for the Iphone i really expected more from apple...

I love the Apple iPhone just like Sony . It has all the features I needed in my phone. The screen quality which makes it simple and intuitive is the best thing I love about this phone. Anyways the following are my comments.

The GOOD: The design, feel & display are incredibly crazy.. Without doubt revolutionary. User interface is very easy. Have been used to Nokia for years, but adjusted within one day. Touch screen feels great and convenient & enough tools even for an above average mobile user.
one big screen with big, clear icons which means that you don't need to be an expert to use it.But This phone is not covered in buttons and menus whick made me fell creamy & worry of scratchs.Fortunately I've found my yearning iPhone silicone cases which bring a great look and style to my iphone.And it is supposed to give it protection from scratches and minor drops.Dust resistant and keep dust from absorbing on the iphone protector case for much static charge.Aha,Perfect collocation,Does it?IMO, it is a great accessorie for ipod/iPhone owner to have.And I even yearned another thinger ---a outer joint keyboard for iphone for a long time!But it seems there isnt anyone yet!?

The NOT SO GOOD.:Screen prone to fingerprints & smudges. Slightly heavy & takes three hours to charge. Iphone Earphones are useless. But then that can be changed,I usually sue my ipod speakers to replace that. Can't change battery & third party applications are useless.,so you have to use the ipod charger every two days(for me).So no special ringtones. Just have to be pleased with the ones that are there. Which are terrible! A 2MP camera in these times. Wake up apple.

The BAD: Ipod Battery Life is pathetic, drops calls & low signal (oops I thought that a mobile must do these basics at least) Needs a charge every day. Even after tricks to save battery Life.People do say that the battery life is not enough but for the 3.5" LCD this much battery life should be more then enough.That's a "pathetic" problem!
Only on rubbish O2 network. Slow Internet. O2 need to improve their edge network! Worse than Samsung! Music quality is also poor. Overpriced.

CONCLUSION: Overall a revolution in mobile handsets. Very good for those who are fashion conscious, like to carry music, wifi, videos & make a few calls, few sms's a day. Also are not too demanding & less finicky (hope this is the right spelling) Bye :-).So,think about what you want from a phone before committing yourself.:rolleyes:
