    Yeah like the guy you spoke to said they used to charge £2o but now they do it for free. You would only need to spin such a story if you on PAYT and handset is less than 12 months old.

    But they couldn't supply me with the right NUC number or at least the assistant manager in Vodafone shop couldn't manage to unlock my K800i with the code she looked up.

    best bet you can do then is phone them up explain what's gone on and they will email the code to you been the correct one how many try's have you had at this as i know if you do it incorrect 5 times then the only other way to do this is by cable

    Thanks man but I wouldn't fone them useless bunch of inbreds again if my life depended on it.:D

    It was the halfwit in the Voda shop that wasted three of my attempts trying to unlock it. Then she had the hard neck to suggest I dont try and enter the code myself incase I bricked it.

    I have unlocked it by cable and put the latest firmware on it and got rid of that useless horrible Voda crap.:cool:
