i am some how new to mobile stuff world. i have read and show so many topics about VKP. patches and some other patches. i want to know that what exactly
VKP patch is???? and for what it meant for??? i know about pc patches of software patches but not know for mobile patches. so please guide me.

i am trying to get into creating patches myself, i was wondering; once i extract a .raw file from my firmware-main.mbn, what is this i am reading? i use a hex editor but what i mean is, is this c code or some other language? it all looks the same

VKP Patches are designed to add new features to the firmware, remove annoyances or improve old features.

it's basically just text files with scripts and things that will mod your phone.
eg unlocking sim lock, disabling camera shutter sound, etc.

forum is full of these VKP's. just found out they just a jamming of codes. nevertheless, they seem to be very useful although there aren't many or any for DB2010 CID49.

please someone provide links, or make them,wud really appreciate it

how do the people who write the patches for us know where to change lines of code and what to change it to/from? do they know how to decompile the firmware or just pour over assembly?
