Thanks for the information! Would you mind giving me so more info on the following things.....?

To set permissions for Java applications you can use the patch to remove all java security restrictions. You can find it in the download section.

Question: What is the name of the patch and do i have to have 'credits' to get it?

If you flash your phone you will still be able to use ATT as your service provider.

If you restore your GDFS, it will NOT put your phone to the original ATT firmware.

Question: Is there any way to backup the AT&T branding so it could be restored later? Or is my only option to intentionally "brick" the phone before sending back to AT&T for warranty repair?

The ATT service is NOT affected in any way.
