    Rebranding Sony W580i to Rogers

I was wondering if anyone out there woudl be able to help me figure out the process step by step to rebrand my phone to rogers. Originally i used wotan to debrand and it gave me an error , probably because i didnt finalize the flash by putting new custpacks on or something. I now have several cracked keys, the big select/back button only works once in a blue moon and i hae some lovely colorblind led displays on the sides. I now have to send the phone back to rogers for repair but i have to rebrand first?

After using wotan and getting pissed off for paying for something that didnt do exactly as i had expected it too, i searched around and debranded it myself. I made a backup of the gdfs. What else will i need to return it to its original state, my younger brother has the same phone but his still remains branded, I was wondering if there was a way i could extract the firmware, filesystem and custpack from his phone and relash it onto mine along with flashing my original gdfs, would that effectively rebrand it? What programs will i require if it is even possible? and how would i go about doing this? Any help is very much appreciated :) as nobody wants to have the keys falling off of their phone and not being able to use the warranty to get it fixed because they debranded before things started breaking on the phone

Edit: Sorry for all the spelling errors, it's less sleep and more study time for me :( Thanks in advance to anyone who can help, or point me in the right direction, If i have to pay to use wotan to rebrand i will but, i just want to rebrand and repair one way or another

If you find the rogers firmware then it will be possible to do it. I know that there is some orange firmware but I dont know about rogers.

lack of conformity = cracked buttons should be covered by warranty, even with new phone firmware. because the problem is the manufacturing of the phone and not it's functionality

He debranded the phone, and probably can't get warranty from the network he bought it from, due to unauthorized modification to the phone.

Files located in one W580 cannot be "extracted" and copied to another. Sorry. Don't see any Rogers branded firmware in Wotan either.

well if you are under warranty, the last resort may be to kill your phone. a friend of mine did that, he cudnt rebrand his phone to just flashed some jibberish file to the gdfs and killed his phone completely. sent it in, and got a new phone :D

You can call Sony Ericsson and send your phone to the service centre up in Newmarket, Ontario. My phone's debranded and unlocked and I sent it up to the repair centre to get my keys fixed. Only downside was that the phone came back loaded with Rogers firmware.
