Question VirtualPC + SE and You

So here it is :) I have a mac, i am totally hooked on modding my phone. I installed VirtualPC and WinXP Home. Everything seems to work great, flash drivers installed perfectly(apparently) and no glitches. Now the part that makes my head hurt a bit, in XS++ i get a 'did not receive 0x5a: continuing' when i click connect and then hold down 'c' and plug in my phone. does anyone know a way to remedy this? or maybe does anyone with a mac successfully use VPC? also i should mention i am using the dcu-65 cable. as a side note i did just recently use the cable and my g/f's pc to flash my phone to a generic firmware with kkclient and had no problems, as well xs++ had no issue connecting then.

It would be silly to ask, right? - Did you try more than one time?
I got the same error, but when I tried procedure from the beginning - everything worked! Yes, I didn't have VPC, but error is the same. Be sure to hold down C for enough time - I hold till the lines start scrolling. :) :)

    Regards.

Just curious, how did you get USB to work on virtual PC?

Well if we're talking about the same Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, when I used it on Vista x64 and installed WinXP it didn't have the USB option so I couldn't flash at all... Ah well, glad it works for you ;)

oh i see, probably due to vista wondrous functionality(no offence) :) i do use a mac though, so maybe that's the issue with usb, possibly only on vista?

Nah, Vista rox (not as much as it should though :D), but I also read somewhere that VPC2007 doesn't support USB?
