so the upshot is, no dice for getting rid of the beep on a w800 r1bc002? im really surprised this hasnt been fixed, after all this time..

I think you don't need patch to remove the video recorder sound. It is a 3gp sound file stored in the FS firmware which can be removed if you have access to your phone FS by deleting it or replacing it with an empty sound with the same name and format.

I remember checking on this about 6 moths ago and was a no go then, but if they can do it on the 790 why not the 810?
