W350 firmware

"Topsony" punished me because " Is not allowed give, publish, or share files from Download Area". The common sense made me me to do it, because "Topsony" was not the ONLY site wherefrom those files could be downloaded. I'm wondering, if I post a link to W350 firmware, which is not in the "Download Area"(LOL), what "Topsony" will do?

Surely you infringement, is not permitted to put the link, but if you can give suggestions, for example, you might say that using google, but not leave the download link

That would be acceptable, as long as no link is posted.

The forum rules have been set out to insure that all users to this site have the ability to use and enjoy it as it has been created. Some of the rules might not be an obvious thing to be issued with a warning or an infraction, but the rules have been created to stop it before it becomes a problem.

A warning is issued in order to point users in the right direction of these rules. If the user insists on breaking the forum rules then a warning is turned into an infraction. If the user continues to break the rules then once a certain number of infractions have been given a temporary ban then comes in to force. If the user returns and continues with behaviour that doesnt follow the forum rules and also upsets the enjoyment of other uses then this ban will become permenant.

We only wish the files at Top Sony to be used by our members, this also takes into considertaion our bandwidth usages. We also do not allow linking to other websites as this is using up their bandwidth, and as im sure you know once anyone has used up their permitted bandwidth their websites are shut down for a period of time. This is what we are trying to avoid.

As Jasmin has already posted above, we ask that you read the forum rules again.

Lead by example and others will follow.
