    Cannot flash K800

I just got a damaged K800, and I tried to flash it with XS++.

I connected the phone, and flashed it with the K800_R8BF003 main and Europe 4 FS.

The phone has got R1GK001 Europe 2 on it originally.

But when I flash the phone, everything seems to be going ok, the main, fs and cda is all flashed onto the phone.

But when I try to turn the phone on, the phone is still dead. The phone just vibrates, and the screen goes from dark to black. And when I connect the phone to xs again, the firmware is still R1GK001 europe4.

Why wasn't the files written onto the phone?

    Re: Cannot flash K800

Now I've got another problem. I tried to patch the phone with setool, but the program just freezed. So I unpluged the phone, but now when I connect it to xs, it says that I have a bad gdfs.

I've got a backup gdfs, and I've tried to flash it, but the program just freezes at writing gdfs. I can't connect to xs with 2 and 5. It works with setool though but I just get an erro message when I try to flash it.

It says gsloader refused to start service, error is. 29
loader GDFS startup failed, that is fatal.

    Re: Cannot flash K800

The phone is cid53 now. Don't askme how(or why) I did this. I just did:D.

Anyone know if it is possible to flas a gdfs backup made from XS++ onto the phone? I've heard that jdflasher can flash the cid53, but can it write gdfs?

    Re: Cannot flash K800

i don't think it can. i tried FAR with all the plugind from JDflasher. (i have a CID53 k800i) and all i could only browse trough the FS and stuff. i think you will have to wait for the new xs++ and hope that it will support CID53

btw you shouldn't have run SEUS that made your phone CID53 :(

I have the same problem with my k800 due to updating erom with kulankendi. It seems kulankendi also updates to CID53 so beware.

better to flash it by yourselve. having unsupported phone is nothing to modders like us. they are trying to cut us apart by upgrading the cid.
