    Unhappy Help, my K810i got CID53 !!!

    After I flashed it with the Sony Ericsson Update Service utility I can't do anything with the phone with XS++ or SEtool2, both programs say phone isn't supported. Funny, cause I was using them just few hours ago. They used to say the CID is 52. Now both say CID is 53, I can't re-flash, I can't access FSX, I can't patch, I can't do anything. Phone works normally, I just need to re-flash it cuz I used wrong region FS file. I also wanted to change the menu, but like I said FSX isn't working. Is this right, cause in the CID sticky thread it sais only W960, P1, W380, Z555 have CID 53. What do I do? :confused:

    XS++ log before:

    Re: Help, my K810i got CID53 !!!

    Actually, I also updated with SEUS and my phone's CID has been changed to 53 as well (and i have a w580i). I believe you can use the FAR Manager plug in JDFlasher to view you files as in FSX, but I'm not sure how to upload.

    Right now, I've been told that there is no free way to flash it to a lower CID number, so just keep waiting and you'll probably get a solution sooner or later.

    (I'm waiting, too)

    I saw this "warning" somewhere that SEUS will update your phone to CID53. I'd better update my phone using phone XS because I'll know the CID in advance.

    Even if you could flash, you never can lower the CID number. You can only change it up and flash firmware and other stuff.

    Re: Help, my K810i got CID53 !!!

    Ok, can somebody please tell me how to flash main and fs firmware with jdflasher? I have the latest versions of far manager and jdflasher that support CID 53. All tuts I can find on the web are about patching, but I don't need to patch, I just wanna flash. I have RED52 firmware, can I still patch a CID53 phone with it? Also jdflasher only offers ofs and oflash, there are no bflash or bfs options. If anybody knows how to do this I'll be very grateful :) .

    EDIT:
    No matter what I try to do with jdflasher on my own, I get a SetDirectory error.

    First you must have firmware for Cid 53.

    Using FAR+SEFP with a DB2012 & DB2020 phone (Guide)

    JDFlasher DB2020 CID52

    Nice day
