Basically, the question in the topic title.

I know that flashing a new MAIN will clear the SIM lock patch and I'll basically have to reapply the patch. Or I can do both (flash new MAIN and apply patch) using SEToolLite 2, but that's beside the point.

My question is regarding SEUS. What happens if update the firmware using SEUS? Will it clear the SIM lock patch?

Yes, I know most of the updates are upgrading phones to CID53 but that doesn't tell me if the SIM lock patch will be removed or not.

Please, enlighten me...
