I recently downloaded this firmware file for for my w910i: W910_R1EA030_FS_ISRAEL_RED52.fbn

Now, how do actually update my phone with the new firmware?

That looks like the FS for your phone. You still need to snag the MAIN since flashing you'll need both. I'm not sure if you can only take the FS and not flash the MAIN, you might end up with something not matching and causing the phone to just not function properly. You can use XS++ but I'm not sure if it supports DB3150 phones. It should. (but don't quote me on that ;) )

You can`t flash w910 for free, because it`s a DB3150 phone. Xs++ 3.1 does support detecting Db3150 phones, but nothing else.

You can try Sony Ericsson Updatee Service if you want to update your phone's firmware.

Tried. It tells me my software version is up-to-date. But its not.
I have R1CA029 unbranded phone.
