Whats the effect of Master Reset ?

Any bad side effects ? I need to do it in order to enable chinese writing ..

Master reset? to enable chinese? Never heard of that. But if you do have menu icons it will corrupt that I think, other than that it will delete all files on phones like music, pictures etc. Thats about all I know.

Yeah, just resetting it to the factory condition it came in when you recieved it.

Factory condition ? Means if my K800i comes with R1GJ001 then it will become R1GJ001 back ? How if I do master reset with R8BA024 ?

It will not revert back, because it isn't possible. Your phone state will be like when you reflashed completely. So just the factory content...

eh... how would reset the phone would enable chinese writing?? maybe u r looking for a reflash of the phone?

cuz master reset would only reset the settings to factory default and including ur phone book. Not the SIM card or anything in the memory stick
