Help with K800i.

I am new to this so please bear with me.

I succesfully unbranded my K800i on 3 using XS++ using:

K800_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52.fbn
K800_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn

It has worked without any problems so I decided to try and unlock my phone to pass it onto my wife (Vodafone). I was following the instructions posted here:

I used SETool 2 Lite 1.10 and backed up my GDFS. I then downloaded v1.11 and did the following:

1. In Windows Explorer drag the MAIN file (.mbn) onto SETool2 Lite v1.11 folder\qamaker\qamaker.exe. In the qamaker's folder you will get a quick_access_XXXX_XXXXXXX.vkp file.
2. Click on ... (three dots) button near MISC files box, and select the vkp file generated in step 2.
3. Tick Bypass DB2020 security checkbox.
4. Click on Add button and select the MAIN firmware file.
5. Press FLASH button.
6. Follow the instructions given by SETool2 Lite.

It appeared to work and so I left it only to discover that 3hrs later it hadn't finished. I clicked stop and then as expected my phone wouldn't turn on. I then used XS++ to apply firmware and filesystem and it appeared to work but when I switch my phone on it says "Configuration error. Please contact you your network operator or service centre". I then tried to write my GDFS using v1.11 and got the following:

Thinking that it may have been due to a difference between v1.10 and v1.11 I tried to write my GDFS using v1.10 and got the same output:

I think you also need the custom pack or choose the cda to be flashed.

yes that is the correct custpack.
when using the db2020 bypass method your battery must be 100% charged no less, also you must have the lastest usb flash drivers installed.
in the setool2 lite folder enter go to drivers/USBFlash_driver/ right click on ggsemc.inf and press install. now try setool2 lite again.

Thx. Have applied the custpack and it's working now. I'll fully charge my battery and ensure that I have the latest flash drivers and try again.
