The simplest way is by renaming the font you want to use with the font
you're about to change. Same procedure as overwriting i guess.
    Hope this help you

    Re: Changing fonts

just did that on my old Z710.Right,the font comes up sans-serif BD,and sans-serif reg(i am not exactly sure about the exact naming of the bold and the regular, but you will see this once you have opened the fsx). Now take any ttf font,i took one "normal" one, then one one i made myself with the ordinary symbols such as the colon and the exclamation mark replaced by a cat's paw and a star. Then i renamed them both separately to the two on the phone(the sans-serif ones),and the just replaced, not touching the font .xml, leaving that as is, and this worked, also showed on the external display.

    Re: Changing fonts

there's another way to change the font(and at any time you want without flash the phone again).
dump out the fonts.xml from tpa/present/system/fonts, and change the "normal" font path to tpa/user/other/font.ttf. then just simply put the font file you like into your "other" folder of your phone memory with the name "font.ttf". if you want to change the font, just replace the file inside your other folder and you wont have to flash the phone again.
