what do you mean by vertical photos? I never heard this expression :S

Vertical photos probably mean that photos in proper format 4:3 could be shoted only, when you hold the cell rotated 90 deg. clockwise (like in K750i...). K310i, W200i and many other phones take 'proper' photos, when you hold them straight.
