ELFs and ELFpacks?

Hello,

I am used to applying patches and also flashing firmware although have no idea what ELFs are and what they are capable of. I get the idea they add extra functionality to the phone although I do not have any understanding of these ELFs or how to apply them.

If someone could explain how they work, what they add and how to apply them to both the k750 and k800 I would be greatly thankful.

it is a 'native' applications. JAVA use java machine->processor. Elf use processor directly (fast). and elf can use all functions of phone.

Search 'Executable and Linking Format' for more info.

how to add: patch 'elfpack' for phone model and firmware, put in special folders library-file, constant-file (dynconst? sorry), elfs :) that`s all.

ok,have read all post in this thread,am non the wiser,so,simply.what are the advantages of having elf packs over not bothering,in my case the walkman player works fine,so does KD,and lyricshow,i don't use the camera much at all,so should i bother(w580).
