Unlocking w600i

Hey, I'm new to the forums & pretty new to unlocking Sony Ericssons.
I've unlocked my w810 successfully and was just wondering is the process for the w810 the same for the w600i?
I plan on giving my locked w600i to my friend, but he has T-Mobile when the w600 is Cingular.
