help! W800 become dead fone!

help!! i juz try to update my w800 using SEUS but after it finish download n while installing to my fone it say error around 40% and now my fone wont turn on at all!! can i use xs++ to fix it??

now when i go to SEUS n try to update it say unable to update this fone

this is how it suppose to looks when my fone is normal using xs++

Look tried again with SEUS. If this doesn`t work, then use farmanager+sepf.

ok i juz got SeTool2Lite but i have no idea how to flash it with it... so far SEUS said my firmware is latest...no need to upgrade

xs++ can read it but when i try to run a cutomize firmware it gave me this

install these usb flash drivers first 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download USBFlash_driver.zip
find the install file the .inf file right click it and press install

setool2 doesn't support cid:36 phones,

your main is corrupt just flash the main only with xs++3.1

i diddnt touch my fone for a few days, now setools wont even read my w800... i have put the battery in w600 n did a full charge but still cant read my fone, wat can i do??

my w800 is unable to b read by xs++, setools, FAR, and SEUS... i have installed those flash drivers, TMS driver, n w800 drivers... but my fone is still unable to b regonize by any program i had. i also have the multiserver cable which jasmin said it can b use for flashing too but i still have no idea wat to do to save my fone
can someone please give me a step by step guide??

Did you try with full charged battery? Maybe the flash chip have to be changed.

Tried on 6 USB ports 2 computer also da battery was full charged by w600

ok i got the EROM, GDFS, MAIN, n FS and a multiserver cable for my w800. i try to use xs++ but it doesnt read the cable... it suppose to b com13 but it didnt give me a choice to pick it.

when i use setool2 i can select com13 and this is the result i get when i do unlock/repair

You don't use multiserver cable wit XS++. Use your original USB cable that came with the phone.

with regular USB cable my comp cant read my fone

Have you got a backup of your GDFS? Have you tried connecting your phone with the usb cable while holding down the 2 and 5 buttons instead of the C button?

i dont not have my own fone GDFS, cuz i never noe SEUS will kill fones when doing update, but i have a copy of GDFS for the w800. i tried with USB cable, no matter wat i press to connect, 2+5, C button, and power button, still wont read my fone

DO NOT use a different GDFS than your own. It WILL BRICK your phone.
If you have already written a different gdfs onto your phone, than your phone is no good other than being used for spare parts.

I don't know why the phone won't connect. Try using different programs. You can even try the davinci client just to see if the phone is discovered.
I don't know anything about service cables, but you could try them out. I erad in your post that you were thinking about buying a cruiser cable. I don't know about this, but perhaps it would work.

Yes, hold down 2 and 5 button while you connect the phone. Do not use C button, just 2 and 5

yes, i did.. he said is ok for DB2010 fones but DB2020 cant use other people GDFS

Well I've never heard about that, but as it is stated before "every GDFS is unique for every phone set as they have unique information regarding the IMEI and customizations". So if you have used a different gdfs, I don't think it is possible to save your phone. You could ask your friend to help you if he knows how to fix it. Or you could start a new thread where your asking if it is possible to save a DB2010 phone which has been flashed with a different gdfs. You could also search the web and see if you find any solutions in other forums.

If you have used another GDFS other then the GDFS your phone is dead.

VERY IMPORTANT: Your phone GDFS is unique to your phone. Writing a GDFS from any other phone will permanently damage your phone beyond repair. You must always write a gdfs that came from your very own handset. Lets say you have a w610i and you try to restore a gdfs that came from your friends w610i then your phone is in big trouble. Hence make sure that the GDFS that your writing is your own GDFS.

If you don't have a GDFS Backup then your phone is dead. Take it to service centre.

but w610i is a DB2020 fone... dats y it cant use other GDFS. and W800 is DB2010 fone

It doesn't matter if it's a db2020, 2010, or a 2000 phone. If you use a different gdfs than the original one, the phone is DEAD, permanently.

fixed my fone!! realized setool2 lite doesnt support recovery... i use the old setool n flash my friend's GDFS, then i get the hong kong MAIN, FS and EROM n flash on my w800... at 1st it gave me an infernal error while flashing then setool shut down. but when i press power on my w800 it start up!! now i need to add those custom camdriver and acoustic driver bak to my old w800

You can try flashing with SeTool2Lite.
