problems flashing my K770i

I have tried to follow the indication on how to flash my K770 as indicated.
I have downloaded the FS and GENERIC files I found but when I try to flash it the XS++ quits and in the log I find this:

What is that I am doing wrong?

You Are Directly Selecting Selecting *.rar File. Use WinRar To Extract *.mbn Out Of It And Flash Using mbn File (Not Rar):D

Thanks to all the people that took me so far.
One last problem. I am using the XS ++ v2 and when I try to lookk for the K770 in the "Customize File System" ticker, "Select Phone Model" pull down menu the K770 is not present!
How can I bypass this problem?

Download your custom file from: Downloads - k770custpack - Top Sony Forums

Then Extract archive and move folder TPA in folder own_custpack, then move folder own_custpack with XS++ in New Folder:

Dear all help!
I followed all your precious advices, and I got to the phone that once turned on it has an italian menu.
However when I type in my SIM code it says (in italian) that there is an error in the configuraration and that I should contact the network provider or the service center.
But the same SIM card works perfectly on a different cell phone.
Please help!

Look at this example:

Finalization = Completing flashing operations and storing basic settings that phone needs to properly operate [i.e. security certificates, (and this is why phone displays "configuration error" if it is not properly done)].

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version
MAIN R1BC002
FS R1BC002
Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case
FS = EU5 (EUROPE_5)
Customization =CDA102338/50 ( EUROPE_5 Sunrise Switzerland)

Did you pick right custom file? Because if you don`t pick right custom file, then doesn`t work.

Thanks for the help.
I picked the only EUROPE_5 Customization file existing in the K770 folder.
I also learned that I might have picked the wrong FS and MAIN versions. I picked the only ones that I saw existing for EUROPE_5, that is the R8AA018. It might have not been the right one and I do not know which one I had. I tried to follow the instructions for the recovery from a bad flash using the back up but my phone still shows R8AA018. So at this point I am kind of lost (again!)

What language do you need?

I would need Italian, English and French all in teh EUROPE_5. Also I would like to have spanish which is not in EUROPE_5 but that is a secondary problem. At the moment the biggest problem is to have the phone working again in whatever language!

So that whoever can might help me in finding out where I messed up,
here is what I have installed on the K770 from the APAC_1 (i think since the phone came from Singapore) to the EUROPE_5.

K770_R8AA018_FS_EUROPE_5_RED52.fbn
K77_R8AA018_MAIN_GENERIC_VI_RED52.mbn
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_14_R8A_GENERIC_EUROPE_5.zip (unzipped of course)

Thanks for all the help.
I tried to install the version R8BC004 for MAIN and FS instead of the R8AA018 (even though this one was the original one of the phone according to the XS++ log) and IT WORKED!!
Right now the phone has an italian menu and all the avaliable languages under EUROPE_5.
Thank you to everyone. Next i will try to add the spanish dictionary for the T9. I am sure I will mess up again, so stay tuned!
