Hi, Ive been Youtubeing and found a guy that had the Walkman Player V3 in his K810. Do anyone know what firmware he has used.
I would like to have that too, But dont kno for sure what other SE models that got V3 in it. thinking of w910 but not quite sure.
Do anyone know what firmware i could flash it too without fuck up my EROM. (did that on the last one! :-/ )
Please give me some feedback about best option for my K810. (dont want Walkman V2)

No adding true walkman to a k810 / k800 / k790 is at the moment impossible.
The only way to actually do this would be by crossflashing but then we get all kind of problems. If we were to crossflash a k810 to i.e w880 atleast i would not consider the phone a k810 anymore. So adding walkman to k810 no can do ;)
What is possible though is using KDplayer or gfx patch the original music player.
I have flashed my k800i to k810i and have installed the latest KD Player as a Java app. Is it possible to just delete SE Media Player altogether and replace it with KD Player? Right now everytime I restart KD Player I have to redo the folder search and I can't shortcut my up joystick to start it. Is there any way to integrate KD Player better?
If you want that you dont need to redo the folder search you must exit KD Player with left soft key and than choose Exit. If you exit by holding the back button and choose Close application, KD Player wont be able to save its work.
KDPlayer can be accessed with the operator button using a modified operator_key_hook.itm.
wow wow wow. what is going on? is there a Walkman Player V3 Program availible for download. and just simply run it as a program? or do i still need to enter the file system threw XS++ or other appz.
Cause ive heard its possible to "patch" the Kxxx models. But is there a Walkman Player V3 Patch somewhere out there. dont want the V2 player.
There is no Walkman player v3 patch. There is a patch to make the k800i, or k810i look like walkman version - walkman v1.Quote:

Yeah only patch.. i did it and my music player looks better now :)

i always had problems with id3 tag album picture (or album art)..
in my pc, a song has its album pic
but whenever in kd player (i downloaded again from ur attachment), the picture gone..
i assure u, the mp3 i played has picture..
i already changed the settings.
album art --> Load from ID3-Tag
because it is in the song's ID3-Tag, not in song's folder.
how do i solve it?

Open File Manager, then your music folder and put picture with name folder.jpg

Then remove all songs from playlist and Add again -> have pic ;)
possible you need the key hook if you want one i will upload it here... you know what i upload it now...
