setool2 lite and a vkp patch use the guides for db2020 phones the only differebs is that you dont need to add main in setool and you dont need any db2020 security bypass
SETool lite will not work, because it is a brown phone.
Generate an unlock patch with Remove SIM-lock patch generator(you will find the sticky thread here at Unlocking section), and apply the patch with JdFlasher.

many thanks for your prompt reply. can i use my data cable or do i need to purchase a service cable and if so what would you recommend............
You can convert brown mobile to red but the program I use (dos) require service cable. With red CID49 you will be able to unlock it with setool free or semc free or to apply vkp patch generated by simox software with setool lite.
Can someone explain it will converting brown to red happen by inserting red erom
This dos program like the former xs++ called PhoneXC converts brown cid49 K750i in red cid49, tested by me.
hi tried to use your software but it does not run. have installed the drivers for my service cable.but are unable to change com port to 6 it says it is in use. also the cable i have purchased has a red and blak wire coming out of it with a lable on it saying 3v dc can you please help....Quote:
