Yes, it can ( Well now you can fill your k810i with as much memory as you can afford with a Memory Stick Micro! ).
Nice day
Well I Think That It Supports Only Upto 2GB. See The Screenshot.
I have k800i and it`s written the same, but I tried with my friends 4 Gb card and works.
Nice day
Thats Nice But Whys SE Providing With Wrong Information.
I don`t know, but if they support more, they could write, soo.
I full agree with you mohdumer.
Nice day
you can have 4gb card but if you will have on it more than 3gb phone can be lagged sometimes
As you probably know, k800i is db2020 platform and all 2020 support 4 gb.
I used 4 Gb card with k550i and k800i for a few months with no problems what so ever.
The interesting question is, does it support 8 Gb :)
How many cost it?
OMG... 4 GB?
is it gonna make my m600 lag? asuming it will recognized by system :P
i already attach 2GB M2 memory, and sometimes when i open file manager, my phone become "dreaming" for a while :) :D
This flash can brake. It is unreliable
I have 4gb m2 my w580i.
It works fine. If you put too much files in it, it will be slower to show up the files.
some one know if the w610 can handle the 4g or 2g m2 ? thanks!
Sony Ericsson - Memory stick compatibility chart
there you go. it has all phones listed.
i guess this is recommended amount of memory, probably you can put more, but it will take phone more time to respond...
Hey, nice memory, can it applied on w200i?
Official : W200 - M2 - Up to 2GB, but I think it should work with more, too.
Nice day
I think SE just give the maximum card available at that time. Just like w580i, it said 4gb but people told me that it work fine with 8gb, anh the speed is acceptable. I dont have 100$ try it. Too bad :(
i have a 8gb on my w800i and works still smooth but it can only show 4 gb
I have 8GB M2 and it works fine in K800, K810 and K550.
However, Phone status only shows incorrect remaining amount until you have less than 4 GB left.
And what You think about 4Gb or 8Gb in W880??
PS
Sory after my english...
It depends how much you need. I have a 2 GB card and it`s not half full.
Nice day
sorry for off topic. does 4gb m2 slow your phone down? My 256 mb M2 is too small.
I did use it for 2 Months , but I didn`t notice any delays. My opinion : NO.
Nice day
I don't think the size slows your phone, the only thing can cause problems is how many files you have on it.
If you fill it up with 20000000 little pictures and themes, I think it can slow down the phone, because it has too many files to read, but else - no problem what so ever!
indeed it doesn't matter how much you put in the phone, i tried my psp's 8gb stick in my old K750 and it works. it just doesn't show the free space correctly and it was kind of slow opening my mp3 folder (wich contained around 1000 songs) but still it wasn't irritating. i now have 512MB in my k800i i don't buy more because i don't need more. just some themes, pics and ringtones is all i have. i use my ZEN for music :p
Should be able to be used with 8gb now =D.
suks roger gave me a 512 memory card =(
how much is 2 gb memory card?
will the 8 gb memory load a bit slower??
i have 8 gb in my w890 and it works okey.
and i also tried my 8 gb m2 with k800 and i worked but it didn't show the correct value in phone status
my cell phone w200i supports 2gb M2, but it works slower, slower writing, reading speed and etc. So I decided to use 1gb M2 card. Maybe I need to update software??
this is normal, thats w200i working slow when using 2GB card
Uptading software don`t help
sorry for my bad english
Does W850i support 5GB????
Coz i want change my 1GB MC
AHRum do you mean 4GB?
2GB is more than sufficient, because as you increase with giga bytes it takes more time to acess data, so slow phone if it is a 4 GB.
IF you live in USA you can get an 8gb for $50 on amazon.com
8 gig is pretty big what you gonna do with all that storage
ilucid you can for example fill it with music
I have 4GB right now, and I'm looking to buy 8GB
