Alright i changed the walkman theme on the sony w580i to glow blue instead of that green thats standard. I edited it in the sony themes customizer thing. But whenever i have a theme with a certain light, as soon as i press the walkman button it turns back to that icky green and stays green! is there anyway to fix this?
Is your version is R8BA024?
R8BA024 have the problem.
Does it revert back to the original color once you close the walkman? Mine (R8BA024) will revert to the theme color after Walkman is dismissed.
Eh - never mind - it does turn puke green eventually and stays that way :(
meh i guess ill just have to flash back then... it it incredibly annoying to have that puke green color on your phone... thanks for the help
I have this problem as well. It's an issue with branded phones and un-branded phones with the latest R8BA024 firmware. You could back flash to R6BC002 firmware. I hear that its not an issue with that one.
And yes its incredibly annoying, especially if you have the gray or black W580i
the colour of the sony erricson logo....... is GREEN, thats why, when u go to the 'WALKMAN' (SONY) - it changes to green

Whenever I turn it on it always glows turquoise unless I actually go into one of the thing in the menu

There is something in the LIGHT EFFECT setting menu
The setting in the menu only change the Call light, a light that illuminates only when someone calls. This seems to work as it should This has no effect on the the color of the light effects for the theme however.
look another w580 is there same problem?
guys how to update the software so i wont have tht stupid light problem widout flashing the whole mobile!?

No harm in flashing back to R6BC002, anyways. I don't really see any significant gain in R8BA024.

Same illumination bug with my w580i running on firmware R8BA024. I also noticed a bug after using and closing the radio function: there's a weird sound everytime I slide the phone open or close
I had the same problem when closing out radio....only way I got rid of that sound was to restart my phone....I have searched many a forum and have not found any other solution to this issue.
I found another way to solve the radio problem. Once u exit the radio function, disconnect and then reconnect ur headphones or use the walkman before disconnecting. That way you won't have to restart your phone......easier altho still annoying.
as said before? does it turn to the theme color??' i did it to mine and i converts but the walkman is always the icky green,, u might have to repatch ur cellphone
The use of flash themes can "fix" the light bug.
How to convert a non-flash theme to a flash theme?
