I have a w610I from orange UK. I want to unbrand ETC how do I find
what Firmaware and FS I need.

The best way how to upgrade your firmware is throuht official Sony Ericsson Update Service II.

But he want to unbrand his phone not just to upgrade his firmware. :-)

XS++ 3.1 is the best solution for debranding and customizing..google it or search it in 4shared.com

deactivate any shortcuts assigned to the left and right arrow keys.

then press > * << * < * to know your firmware version.

to know the CID version connect your phone to XS++ .. you will find your CID version in the log file

to connect your phone to XS++, start XS++ and click on connect.
turn off your phone , remove the battery and reinsert it then hold the 'c' button while plugging in the USB cable to the phone

Use Xs++ To Check.

:DTo know about your phone details, press joystick in the dirction below,be sure keypad is unlocked when u do this!
