Why would anyone go from CID49 to CID52 ?
As i understand it the older CID you have the easyer it will be to hack your phone right?
On CID52 it is harder to hack the phone and to unlock it.
or am i wrong?

No, you have right. Sometimes you upgrade your phone by SEUS and it write new CID to your phone.

Updating CID for some phones offer more firmwire for them to choose from. And there are some advantage's for updating which are faster menu and some bugs are fixed.

You can upgrade, but I would wait with upgrading to CID52. You don`t gain and lose much. Look only upgrade can be made ( CID ) , not downgrade.Quote:

You can only upgrade your phone to firmware K800 SW-R1KG001, because for your Firmware Version: R1CB001 doesn`t exist patch to unlock. For this version it does exist:

Yes, you will need to upgrade to cid52 and then make a full flash ( main, filesystem and custom file ) with last firmware ( R8BA024 ), but then can you unlock your phone with this:Quote:

How to patch your phone with Setool 2 Lite
First copy this code to notepad and save as patch.vkp
How to remove or add the patch with setool 2 Lite:
- Select your phone model
- click Use "quick access" patch tick box
- add the same Patch to MISC File
- Click Write Script
- Hold C and insert Cable
- Click "Yes" to remove the patch. Click "No" to add the patch.

Thinking about going to k810i sience i am upgrading my cid to 52 i can go al the way to k810.
If i use
K810_R8BA024_FS_EUROPE_4_RED52
on my k800i then will i still be able to use xs and so on like is was when i had CID49?
and wich custpack do i need?
