what were you trying to do?
am trying to flash my phone .
That just means you were unable to connect to SET2.. do you have USB drivers installed? Do you press 'c' on the phone while connecting?
Get the latest verson of SETOOL
see if that works =]

Yes , I have the driver installed , press on C when asked to do that .
But first , how to communicate between the program and phone if the phone doesnt responde to program commands send via cable .
OK , will try the last SeTool version .
But I think the problem in the phone itself , since SeTool failed to open port Interface on the phone .
Its Hardware Problem ?????

i was flashing my k800 to k810 says that a couple of times too "Phone Preboot Failed...." i just restart SETool and Reflash it, works for me. maybe you set the wrong phone on the drop down box
Or USB flash driver not installated properly...
most w800i's are cid:36, and setool2 lite doesn't support cid:36 use xs++3.1
try using xs++ or farmanager
I tired . XS++ and FarManager . same problem .
The Driver Installed from Sony Ericsson Website , W800.exe .
What if the problem related to MS DUO, is that possible ?
just like number1,try with xs 3.1,and that problem with "Phone Preboot Failed...." it's just from the flash drivers.
That isn't the USB flash driver. You will find the required driver in SETool2Lite_folder\drivers\usb_flash_driver\gg-setup.exe (version 1.08 and earlier) or in SETool2Litev_folder\drivers\usb_flash_driver\ggsemc.inf (version 1.10). In this case right click on ggsemc.inf and choose Install.Quote:
