Any way to backup FS and main before flashing k750i

Hi,

I want to know wheter it is possible to backup the mentioned files before flashing the phone. When it is crashed or i don't know ... there would be a way to restore old fs and main.

By the way can anyone explain me "GDFS" ..what is this good for ? :confused:

GDFS In Your Phone Is Like Bios In Your Computer.
You Cant Backup You FS And Main But You May Check It And Download Same From Download Area. In Standby Press >*<<*<*. First Line Is Your Software Version While In 2nd Line After CXCxxxxxx You'll See Your MAIN Name. Now, Go To Service Info And Then Software Info. Under Customization Read 4th Line Which Will Be Your Customization. Use It To Find Your FS Here. However If You Want To Backup Your Data Including Contacts, Messages, Notes, Calender And Files etc, You May Use MyPhoneExplorer To Do So.

GDFS is unique to each phone.

As jasmin has noted, GDFS is unique to each phone. That's why it's critical to backup your GDFS before any modification.

I heard that gdfs backup were corrupt. How can it happen?

you can use setool lite also for gdfs backup as well as complete phone back up.

Will restoring the backup still be patch unlocked and work?

Use Far manager.You can backup MAIN,FS,GDFS and EROM if you know the adress.

Oh btw.I've read that in GDFS is written if the phone is locked,...

i dont know but u can write down the firmwares on your handset before you flash and then backup GDFS with XS++ v3.1

if anything goes wrong during flashing just restore GDFS and flash original firmwares

Yes You Can But If Anything Goes Bad, It Better To Restore Original Firmwares And CustomPacks And In The End Restore Your GDFS.
